Not a Time Share

As I was driving to work this morning I was listening to Dan McCollam.  He basically made the statement that we are to be God’s temple not a time-share.  Talk about a powerful statement.  We have a culture pulling at us, telling us that certain “sins” are okay.. That we can have everything “our way”.  It is so easy to fall into this trap and make excuses for behavior that doesn’t line up with the Word of God.

Have you ever had God teach you a lesson through a pet? We have a HUGE german shepherd. I mean huge. I swear that she was given steroids as a puppy! I did not know that german shepherds could grow this large. What is frightening is that her father is larger than she is!

A Walk Outside

I walked outside this morning and it was very, very quiet. To me, this was sad. Last week it was warm. The birds were singing and the peepers, in the neighbor’s pond, were making a ton of noise. I loved it. After all, that racket tells me that spring is here. But than, it got cold and has the nerve to snow too! So, this morning everything was deathly quiet, no peepers peeping, no birds singing and I was freezing!
